Bless Their Nest

As the hustle of wedding season is slowing down, it's a nice change of pace to be planning an upcoming "bless our nest" baby shower. The cool blues and warm browns compliment a beautiful nest themed lunch that will be sure to delight the mother-to-be. Red, White and Wow!

Last night, Please RSVP was honored to be the event coordinator for a fundraising dinner for Bob Dixon for Missouri State Senate. It was a beautiful 83 degrees and a perfect evening for an event outdoors at a private residence. The decor was complete with a red, white and blue theme with linens from The Total Bride. Guests dined on exquisite catering from Infused Catering (a division of Long Horn Grill)- some guests noted the shrimp tempura to be the best hors d'oeuvre they've ever eaten! Delicious wine was served from Vino 100 and the most incredible melt-in-your-mouth cake truffles were from The Cake Truffle Store. Aside from the cake truffles, guests couldn't stop talking about the adorable personalized cookies from Tiny Bites and Invites. Thank you to all the vendors who helped me pull together an amazing event. My inbox is flooded with emails this morning!

Counts-Beeson Wedding Sneak Peek

It will come as no surprise when I announce that I LOVE weddings. My favorite type of wedding is the "at-home wedding" that really allows guests to feel the personalization of the bridal couple. This past holiday weekend, we were fortunate enough to witness Piper Counts and Bry Beeson say "I do" in front of 150 guests at the brides family home.  The setting alone was amazing-not to mention the details. I can't wait to post the pics from Kara (Owens Photography) but for now-you'll have to settle for my snapshots. Congratulations Piper and Bry!

Surprise!

I am not one who enjoys surprises. However, I do love to surprise others! Last weekend, we celebrated my father-in-law's 70th birthday with a surprise bash. Great food, great wine and great friends made for a perfect weekend. Happy Birthday, Donald!

Holy Cuteness

Everyone needs a friend like my friend, Miriam. She seems to have all the answers. If I need to know where to buy a purple couch-Miriam has a connection. If I need to know where to have a personalized shirt made for my daughter's birthday-Miriam has a connection. And thank goodness

After an uncountable amount of emails, Rebekah created the most adorable tank top, bows and party hat for Claire's upcoming ladybug party. Now, Claire's outfit is complete. The ladybug invitations have arrived!

Claire's ladybug party is coming together! I was so excited to meet with Angela from Tiny Bites and Invites yesterday to pick up Claire's birthday invitations. Aren't they adorable? Wait until you see what she does with the birthday party cupcakes that are inspired by Martha Stewart. She has an amazing talent.
